ARFTG-101 Award Winners

The ARFTG-101st Best Oral Paper Award recognizes the technical acumen demonstrated by two distinguished presenters. Jean-Pierre Teyssier of Keysight Technologies was awarded for his paper, “Pulsed Sub-THz Wideband Vector Component Analysis,” showcasing his expertise. Additionally, Christopher Clymore from the University of California, Santa Barbara, delivered a comprehensive presentation on the “First Comparison of Active and Passive Load Pull at W-Band,” earning him recognition. Both papers stand as exemplars of thorough examination and advanced methodologies, contributing significantly to the technical depth and innovation within the field.

It’s noteworthy that Christopher Clymore’s presentation also secured victory in the Best Student Paper Award category, underscoring the exceptional quality of research presented by emerging talents in the field.

Tianze Li of Cornell University won the Best Interactive Forum Award with his paper presentation titled “Validity of Room-temperature Calibration for On-wafer Measurements up to 220 GHz, 125 °C, and 48 h.” Her meticulous examination and technical prowess in addressing the calibration challenges at high frequencies, elevated temperatures, and extended durations earned her this esteemed recognition.

Additionally, through a discerning evaluation by exhibition attendees, Keysight Technologies emerged as the Best Exhibitor at the ARFTG-101st event. This acknowledgment underscores Keysight Technologies’ technical leadership and innovative contributions within the field, as appraised by a knowledgeable audience of peers and professionals.
