ARFTG-104 Workshop Program Now Finalized
The ARFTG-104 Workshop, scheduled for 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, focuses on the Latest Advancements in Testing, Modeling, and Linearization of Nonlinear RF/Microwave Devices and Circuits.
Experts from academia and industry will present topics ranging from the definition of distortion criteria such as NPR and EVM to innovative techniques for optimizing the performance of power amplifiers in high-frequency applications. Key sessions will explore the trade-offs between efficiency and linearity in Gallium Nitride amplifiers, nonlinear modeling of GaN HEMTs, and emerging strategies for load-modulated balanced amplifiers.
The workshop will also address the challenges of developing and testing large-scale multiple antenna (LSMA) transmitters for 5G and 6G systems, with discussions on the latest trends in beamforming, sub-THz frequencies, and system-level linearization. Attendees will gain insights into the current state of RF/microwave technology and practical approaches to improving performance in next-generation communication systems.
