Extended Deadline: Submit Your Abstract by March 10th for the 105th ARFTG Conference
Good news for prospective authors! The abstract submission deadline for the 105th ARFTG Conference has been extended to March 10, 2025. This extension provides additional time to refine and submit your work for this premier event, co-located with IMS-2025.
Conference Theme: Challenges in Microwave Measurements under Cryogenic Conditions
The upcoming ARFTG conference will focus on the latest advancements in microwave measurements at cryogenic temperatures, a critical topic for quantum computing systems and other emerging applications. We welcome original research contributions exploring innovative measurement approaches across RF, microwave, and sub-THz domains.
Suggested Topics for Submission
While all innovative measurement contributions are welcome, we particularly encourage submissions in the following areas:
- Measurement & calibration to support quantum computing circuits and systems
- Noise measurements under cryogenic conditions
- Free space calibration and measurements in confined cryogenic environments
- Calibrations and measurements for space-based devices and systems
- Other novel measurement techniques in quantum technologies
Additionally, ARFTG always seeks contributions in:
- RF/digital mixed-signal measurement and calibration
- On-wafer calibration and measurements
- Material characterization and its impact on microwave performance
- Recent developments in metrology, including measurement uncertainty
Key Deadlines:
- 10 March 2025: Abstract Submission Due (New Extended Deadline!)
- 21 March 2025: Paper Acceptance Notification
- 18 April 2025: Final Paper Submission of Publication-Ready PDF
Author Instructions
Prospective authors should submit an initial paper (4 pages or fewer), including supporting figures of experimental setups and measurement results. Submissions will be evaluated based on their relevance to conference themes and the novelty of the research.
Accepted contributions will be presented as 20-minute oral presentations or in interactive poster sessions. Final papers will be published in IEEE Xplore, provided they are presented at the conference.
Detailed submission instructions, including required templates, are available on the ARFTG website.
